Sometimes with matches,
sometimes with this:

I recently changed out the Zippo pipe insert for a Thunderbird Butane insert and love it.
I just love the old Zippo 'click' when opening & closing.

Matches most days, now and again will use my butane pipe lighter. Never tried it with a zippo.

Matches, Swan or Diamond. How 'bout you Dock?

I've got a few old boys, dunhills, a porsche and a cartier but I use my Colibri butane pipe lighters everyday. I have six of them now and when one dies (which they do) I just send em' back to the company for repair or replacement. Matches are for old timers! :cheers: :tongue: :lol:

EJ, I think you have the right idea. I tried using water, but it didn't work out nearly as well as fire.
