Since I haven’t tried SG FVF yet, I might want ro revise my survival pack later. (Same accounts for several GL Pease, C&D, McClelland and G&H blends, as they are not easily available in Germany.)

this is a great thread guys. (except for that part where those scary chicks show up. are we sure the one on the left is a chick?) i'm writing up my wish list right now. surprised by how many of the same blends are loved by all.

I'll stick to the baccy...
Kingfisher
Escudo
Solani ABF
Solani 633
Opening Night or Manhattan Afternoon.
Maybe with enough time in the desert island, a derelict case of Mr. Jack, plus the right moonlight (i.e. not too much light), those two might be palatable. Plus several bowlfuls of Junkyard Dog and Mississippi Mud.

Btw, that must have been Mary Ann's DUI mugshot. It actually turned out that she was not DUI and the arrest was more of the increasingly more frequent DWAC (Driving While A Celebrity). Or in this case a former celebrity.

so several of you would have SG navy flake on your list. i've tried getting some. all out of stock. also SG FVF. is there something i don't know? (i'm worried i might soon be stranded on an island.)

I don't think you like it Bruins, It's got a old ginger taste to it.

SG tobaccos are out of stock everywhere because a whole lot of smokers have packed well in advance of the journey and because they're outrageously cheap in bulk. Luckily, I prefer the slightly pricier G&H products.

Valky, Seattle is getting to you bro????????
I'm getting worried about you brother Dutch!!!!

BRUINS!!!
SG is a small company in the British Isles. All their work is hard hand labor. Just a few guys strutting their stuff. SG had no idea that some of their blends would take the world market by storm. They simply just cant keep up with production. My brother lives in London and they are even sold out there.
Keep your eye on the prize, 4noggins, Smoking pipes.
The last batch that came into 4noggins, guys were ltd to 6 tins per order.
I think the entire FVF world stock is sitting in cellar right here amongst the brothers!!

yeah, pipetongue's cellar!

To cover all the bases:

Virginia: Rattray's Marlin Flake
Burley: Peretti's BPC
English: Esoterica's Margate
Aromatic: Peterson's Sunset Breeze
Other: Dunhill's Durbar

-fumo bro

Krikey, that's a tough question. I have to shoot for versatility so as not to leave any craving unsatisfied:

1. English - Frog Morton
2. Balkan - Balkan Sasieni
3. Virginia - MacBaren Club Blend (I know, not a true VA, but my fave in the category)
4. Burley - MacBaren Burley London Blend
5. Aromatic - Peterson Luxury Blend

By the way, I edited my choices several times. Leaving out VaPers and Orientals was really a challenge, plus to ditch the VA/Burley category (like University Flake, Navy Flake or OGS) seems a heinous crime! That was a TOUGH exercise, even with the limited experience I have under my belt!

I think the biggest lesson I have learned here is never get on a boat or a plane without at least 20 varieties in my suitcase :)

Dear Friends of BoB,

If my wife inquires about my whereabouts, just tell her: "Sorry about your loss, but we're sure that Slow Puffs is in a better place."
