Hello, I'm from Thornton, Colorado. I am a 20 year plus cigar smoker and I am just getting into pipes. I look for to learning more about the brother hood and getting to know people.

Welcome! Piping takes time to perfect. I only started 1.5 years ago, and still learning. The BoBs here are very helpful, and youtube has a lot of good videos for beginners.

Welcome to the group. You may want to start out using Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipes, they're fairly cheap online so you can buy a few and rotate them while learning. Check our The Corn Cob pipe page on pipedia.org or poke around this site.

Welcome from Arizona high country. Isn't Thornton just south of Denver?. If you want to mix pipe tobacco with some cigar maybe try C&D Billy Budd. I find it quite tasty.

Welcome from Alabama. I have tried cigars and always found them, even the mild ones, way too harsh for me.
I’ve also found, when smoking aromatics, they are generally more socially accepted. Or, at least most folks don’t seem to categorize them with other tobacco products.
