That ditty comes from a CD compilation of old UK drinking songs entitled " The Tale Of Ale" by Vic Gammon. Circa '93. Great stuff. pm me if you'd like a dub.

We used to go there a lot a winter, a little easier to get to the bar and you can have a few games on the horn. Trip never tasted the same after HH moved the production and started making it in larger batches.
Pity, that. Lost the plot or succumbed to the bean counters then?
I am guessing it is, tastes like every other HH bitter now. At first i was happy to see it in my local, but then i had a few.
