A little tardy here as I've been a reader and member for a while, but planning on being more active. Bought the obligatory pipe when I started college, but didn't really start pipe collecting and smoking until 1995. Initial collecting interest was drip wax pipes, currently it's older (1920s-1930s) Kaywoodies. Mainly smoke balkan blends, but I like a good VA flake occasionally, especially in the winter. Also enjoy cigars, mainly outdoors in the summer and fall grilling, camping and on photo trips in the southwest.

Well, that's funny because when we remodeled our master bedroom 10 years ago my wife allotted me two closets (she got the walk in closet), one of which became dedicated to pipes, tobacco and a tobacco library. So yeah, I'm in and out of the closet on a daily basis! ;)
