Mixed up a special batch of tobacco last week for today's enjoyment - a base of Old Gowrie with a healthy amount of latakia, a decent amount of orientals and a touch of perique (all McClellands blenders) - all packed tight for a quick marriage... My first such attempt - outcome unknown
Just finishing the first bowl now - spending the time watching wisps of smoke float while contemplating it's flavors and its name...
Quite pleased - the taste of the Old Gowrie comes through nicely, the perique spice is pleasantly subtle, the latakia and orientals share the stage nicely and fill things out
Will have to go through a few more bowls to decide on a name - down to two choices - Gandalf's Gambit and Gandalf's Good Fortune
