I was just sitting here sipping on some Glenfidditch, and smoking some Penznace, total relaxation, this is quite a bit of a difference from my younger days...

So... what are some other folks doin I wondered..

Surfin' BoB.....got some James McMurtry on the stereo........drinking my own beer........listening to my eldery cat yowl from the top of the washing machine (he wants to be groomed - again for the third time today)..........thinking about what I'm gonna have for supper.........

AND, feeling thankful for my health and employment in this economy and doing something for a living I truly enjoy.

Not to mention sharing info with all the fine folks here on BoB!

Well we ordered some Buffalo Wild Wings. Just finished eating that. Drank a Miller Lite while eating. Thinking about packing a little Christmas Cheer in a pipe and take the dogs out. That'll kinda' be like the end to the season. Probably will have a glass of wine later. Other than that I'll find something mind numbing to watch on the tube until time for the ball to drop. When it does it'll be time to kiss my sweet wife and gross out my son.

BUT I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Wife and I just finished a potato gratin with leftover Christmas ham. Kids are gone off to the snow for a few days, house is quiet. We will be in bed before the ball drops in New York (yes, I am on the west coast). It's amateur night, stay home and wake up without a hangover.

Earlier I had a bowl of RLP-6 in my meer (indoor smoke) and presently I am sipping my one new years eve libation, a dram of Finlaggin, a nice affordable peated single malt Islay.
