Great links, I think that I need a Harris Tweed from Berkeley hat.Ol'Dawg":rmfy77la said:A few years ago, I purchased a dark grey Dubliner Tweed Hat from the Shandon Hat Company in Ireland. http://hatsfromireland.com/ The hat is very well made, lightweight but warm and almost waterproof yet holds its shape well. They provided hassle free service and prompt shipping. The hat is much better looking than their photo and no green tint either.
Another company that offers a wide variety is the Berkley Hat Company.

That Barmah cooler hat is the best I've ever found. The brin is plenty wide and the top of the hat isn't mesh so you still get sun protection on top. The canvas brim and top is waxed so if fares well in the rain. It's crushable, something that is important to me as I often ride a motorcycle to camping and hiking destinations so I need it to be packable.riff raff":h6csxkvp said:Great links, I think that I need a Harris Tweed from Berkeley hat.Ol'Dawg":h6csxkvp said:A few years ago, I purchased a dark grey Dubliner Tweed Hat from the Shandon Hat Company in Ireland. http://hatsfromireland.com/ The hat is very well made, lightweight but warm and almost waterproof yet holds its shape well. Josjor: as a bald guy, I love a cool summer hat.
I forgot to dig out my old waxed hat mentioned earlier, and it is raining like cats & dogs today....
