Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it.
I have been smoking pipes off and on for about 10 years; have been smoking them seriously for the last 5 or so.
My PAD is held in check by my TAD (once I have all the tobacco I want [ha!] I guess I can start focusing on pipes)
I have always enjoyed Balkan type Lat blends and Lakelands were love at first smoke. Have grown to really love a medium, bready Virginia and only in the past year or two have Burleys really “clicked” for me but they too are amazing. I have found that strong doses of perique are not for me and sadly am coming to the realization that my body might have something agains red virginias, though I LOVE them otherwise…mores the pity.
Outside of Pipes I am a big book nerd and like to chase hobbies (too many hobbies) that force me to do things the hard(er) way such as blacksmithing, hand tool woodworking, fly tying and leatherwork. I live in the green part of Oregon but my favorite place in the world is the high desert in the eastern half of the state.
Thanks for having me; I recognize some user names from another forum I am on, the ones I don’t I look forward to getting to know and learn from you.
Cheers!
