So I am just getting back into the hobby and have misplaced some of my pipes including my 2 favorite pipes. ( a peterson system 302) and a peterson shock holmes lestrade. So I guess I need a new pipe or 2. My issue is I can't spend a ton at this point for several reasons but partially because I still have some hope I will find these 2 at some point and I will eventually buy a jumbo boswell when I find the one I want. I tend to like a larger pipe but really just want a decent smoker. I have always liked petersons but I have a stanwell that is a great smoker as well and a little savanelli nosewarmer that is decent too. But as a bit of a novice I just don't know what brands aren't terribly expensive but tend to smoke well. I plan to use it for english blends if that makes a difference (not a goopy aromatic) I would love to keep the price around $ 100 or less. If there are even cheaper ones that smoke well ill listen to that as well.

Sounds like you’re married to briar…but I’d strongly recommend you expand your experience to include a cob or two. They are generally astonishingly good smokers. A number sport quality acrylic stems, etc. They are a solid value, lots of fun but above all SMOKE REALLY WELL.

You might try Blue Room Briars. They have their own line, Vermont Freehand, and Merchant Service in the lower price spectrum, but it's going to be tough to get a new, solid quality pipe at $100. I try to keep my ear to the rails about that sort of thing. I'm no cob expert, but if you tend towards burley blends, which is where I feel cobs really sing, I think a cob is a great recommendation. I think you can get a Missouri Meerschaum Legend for $10-12 on ebay, which includes shipping.
Oh, and there is also Moonshine Pipes from smokingpipes, but again, $150-175 range. Maybe email them for other recommendations to your specs.

I'm a Peterson guy myself, some well priced below 100. I have a couple Molina pipes that smoke pretty good and are on the cheaper end. And of course cobs are always a great option.
I had a few cobs they are ok but I swear I can taste them. Plus I am a wood guy. (I have done wood floors for the last 25 years) so I appreciate the beauty of having a hunk of wood in my hand.
I find quite a few very serviceable pipes in the 100 range. Like peterson system pipes for instance and savanelli etc. I have a couple that were more expensive but I am just trying to figure our if there are brands I may be overlooking due to inexperience. I have several petersons including a deluxe and a couple sherlock holmes but I don't know that I want to spend as much as I have in the past unless it is something more unique such as from a independent carver. I know the boswell I am looking for will be at least $300 and I am ok with that. I also am not ruling out estate pipes as I actually enjoy the restoration process.
On another note $100 isn't a firm price point. Just sort of a target.

Savs and Stanwells are hard to beat for price. I have a Sav 606EX Hercules that smokes great. And one of my best smoking pipes is a cheapie Stanwell brushed black bought for 30 bucks on sale at P&C. Also a Crown that smokes very well for around $40.

Another for pipes may look for Briar Works. One of my best smoker less than $100 was #111.
If you end up leaning toward a Savinelli, you can get a less expensive line of theirs under Rossi. An example would be that line's version of a 320 would be $85 or maybe less.

I just recently purchased my first pipe so by no means am I an expert…but I bought a Savinelli from smokingpipes.com for 118 bucks. It seems to smoke really well and is a beautiful pipe, but again I’m just starting out on my pipe journey so I’m still learning as well.
I can't seem to find any pipes for sale from them. I think I see one on there website and that is all. Where would one even find any of there pipes?

I highly recommend like others have said to branch out in cobs. Great Budget smokers and alot of them are rock solid! I still have my OG Cob that I picked up 10 years ago and its great!. I love the shire and wizard but they can be hard to find in stock sometimes. The wizard is the way to go and under 50$ is a steal. Now i know you said under 100 but if you already like the Petersons the 306 i linked is just my #1 pipe by far. But i know the 306 is not for everyone so hopefully this helps.

Second on the cobs. I have 2 MM generals dedicated to burley blends and they both smoke great.

I will suggest the same pipe I always do, a Savinelli with no filter or adaptor. nice sized group 5 is a great all around pipe. My first pipe was a Savinelli that smoked cool and dry and it gave me a baseline as to how a good pipe should smoke. When I did buy a piece of crap I knew it and tossed it. I still have that Sav over 20 years later and would smoke it but I can't do acrylic stems anymore. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks very much for the welcome back. Back in the day I used to run car dealerships, being direct was something you had to be. I then owned my own businesses for 27 years and I had to be even more direct. In the car business my sales people loved me as I was always the best closer and they made the money when I closed. I was on salary and bonus so every dollar I gave away cost both me and the sales person so I had a crew and we worked great together.
Money talks and BS walks kind of guy! Haha....yeah we would get along just fine. Again, welcome back.
