Okay, my brothers... I have a confession to make. Unfortunately, I don't speak any Afrikaans. I've been cheating and using Google Translate! It is somewhat of an involved process that I've been using to try and get it as close to right as I could. Now, seriously... was Google and I slaughtering it that bad???

To clarify, Valky and I do a tremendous amount of picking at each other. And, it is understood by both of us that it is all in fun. I know that neither he, I or anyone else could ever send you anything to cause you to think highly of him/us. Ole Falconer is a darn good fellow!! I've figured out that he's got a heart of gold... and, it isn't cold gold, either!!

I understand that you want to thank him before letting the rest of us in on what he sent you. And, as much as the suspense is killing me, I admire you for that!

"Oubaas" or "OB" as it's more commonly known is a term that was reserved for the owner of a farm by the farm hands and literally means Old Boss, the owners sons would be referred to as "Kleinbaas" Little boss. This term has become diluted over the years and is now used by beggars, wanting small change "Hoe lyk it OB? Gooi n 5 bob!" Loosely translated as meaning. How are you Old Boss, do you have spare change for me?" Hope this helps. As mentioned, I thought highly of Valky the day he made his first post here and we have been close friends ever since. A couple of months ago he would join me for my early morn. coffee and pipe and it would be near 1am over at his place. He is often the first to greet me when I come online in the early morn. here. I love the bird for that.
I am indebted to the brother and will return the favor in time.

A mentioned, I will post up pics later, I have just sent Valky a mail, hope he is not pissed for me opening it now. One of the smaller packages I have not opened and will leave till xmas!!!
