I don't really have a website, no. Generally what I do is talk to guys on various forums and do custom stuff, with a lot of interaction with the client. Other pipes I just sell in the selling sections of this and (mostly) other forums.

I've got a whole swack of pix I can send, but I really don't want to clutter up any of the forums I participate on with a ton of pipe pix. "There's that ******* Sasquatch trying to sell another pipe." Far prefer to participate here as "one of the boys" and I also just happen to make pipes. Guys like TexasOutlaw were kind enough to buy some earlier works and give me detailed feedback.

If you're game, shoot me an email - [email protected] and I can send you some photos, and we can have a chat.
As an administrator here I give you free reign to clutter the living hell out of it as much as you care too! Seriously, feel more than free to post some pix of your work. I and (I'm sure) many others would like to see what you're up too....

Muhahahaha

I just don't want to be seen as a guy who posts here in order to sell pipes. That they would go hand in hand would please me, but I dread being seen as either a hijacker or a guy who posts basically to serve his own interests.

Instead of rolling this thread any further off track than it is, I'll put up a new thread and anyone who wants to look can.

I'll swipe it a little further off OP..

Sas.. Just post in the town crier, or whatever we call that area, when you have something ready for market.
We have had several pipe makers participate in the forums AND sell their wares in the appropriate area.. I cant remember it ever being a problem.

It helps everyone, You get to sell pipes and BS with us.. WE get to buy pipes and BS with you....

It's helpful for everyone, for sure. I get to hear likes/dislikes of serious smokers, and you guys get to pick the brain of someone who in theory, at least, knows a lot about pipes. Having guys like Rad Davis and Mike Brissett (and Greg Pease on the tobacco end) participate here totally rocks.

I just posted a bunch of pics in the pipes section = maybe the mods will want to move it. Nothing I posted is for sale; it was more of a trip into the shop to have a look at what's currently on the go, which lots of guys seem to like to see.

Well I'm a mod and I aint moving it.... Thats cool.... Thanks.

Yeah I don't think anyone would get the impression you are here ONLY to sell pipes, as has been suggested, post your work in the Town Crier section. I'd LOVE to see your stuff as I'm much more interested in the affordable artisan's craft than I am pipes churned out in the thousands in a factory, and HELL YEAH I'd rather spend my pipe money on something created by someone I 'know' for here.

LET'S SEE THEM PIPES BRO!!!

The DARK LORD knows a great deal about pipes as well, just look at his collection sometime!

Lol Sasquatch don't worry about leading a thread on or anything like that, not to worry. I did find however, whilst purusing youtube for pipe videos (my life is very full at the moment ;) ) this video by 'cupojoes' which goes through effectively what you guys have said makes a good pipe but with the added benefit of video evidence and emphasis on some particulars, hoepfully useful to everyone, those who know little like myself and those more informed at the other end, who can critique it so that we learn from both sides

ha ha, sometimes learning the hard way yields the best results when applying experience, I'm sure there's a shorter way of saying that lol
