Funny, even with my appreciation for Latakia, Sextant is the only one of GLP's with the smokey stuff I've really gotten to know. Blackpoint was one I wanted to delve further into (I dug it), but it's hiding somewhere in the sample tubs.

I've quite a few on my list... Piccadilly, Kensington, Quiet Nights, Caravan...

Last month I smoked a tin of Bohemian Scandal pretty damn quick! It's was great and I only have one tin left... I'm hoping this 2005 Ashbury will ring similar bells! Lol I really like subtle Latakia blends... And so far I think that's one of the things Greg excels at.

I have some Quiet Nights and Picadilly, but I'm leery of the Perique due to Charing Cross and Chelsea Morning...it just covered up everything for me.

I also have some Ashbury and Laurel Heights, they might be a little more to my liking. That, and revisiting Blackpoint with some purpose.

Gregs Ashbury is VERY,VERY close to a blend that is one of the classics "back in the day", Sullivan & Powell's Gentlemans Mixture, of which I used to smoke a LOT of back in the 70's. It was a great subtle English Blend with one of the smoothest Va bases and greg has come damn close to replicating it IMHO :p I think you will find it to your liking :|
