Went to James River state Park today to do a little hiking with the Missus and the couch potato.

Didn't go fishing, went hiking. Saw some others fishing, but they weren't catching anything but some small panfish. :)
 
Pan fish are fun to catch if you use real lite equipment.
 
That looks to be a beautiful place and if it wasn't for the design of the bridge, could be mistaken for my home shire of Devon in Blighty.

Well, it was certainly grey when I was in Portsmouth. But it was October, so that may account for it. Got to see Stonehenge, pile of rocks in the middle of a sheep pasture, and Bath. Had a pub lunch and wandered the town. Lovely place. Saw the baths and some very nice old Georgian homes. Excellent bitters and stouts too. :)
