Went to James River state Park today to do a little hiking with the Missus and the couch potato.

Didn't go fishing, went hiking. Saw some others fishing, but they weren't catching anything but some small panfish.

Pan fish are fun to catch if you use real lite equipment.

That looks to be a beautiful place and if it wasn't for the design of the bridge, could be mistaken for my home shire of Devon in Blighty.

Tye River overlook. It's a boardwalk built in the park.

Well, it was certainly grey when I was in Portsmouth. But it was October, so that may account for it. Got to see Stonehenge, pile of rocks in the middle of a sheep pasture, and Bath. Had a pub lunch and wandered the town. Lovely place. Saw the baths and some very nice old Georgian homes. Excellent bitters and stouts too.
