Going back and jarring up some of the older stash. A bunch of LJ Peretti's from 2004 and 2005. Several bags & boxes of Gawith Hoggarth. Some bags of C&D. Of course I had to sniff and sample. Habana Daydream, Billy Budd, #7 Broken Flake, Aromatic Brown Flake, Coniston Cut Plug, Pride of Loch Lomond, Dundee, 333, Cherry Cavendish. I ran out of jars again before I got to a couple pounds of Omega. The tins are good for a time. But not forever.

The equivalent of the National Oil Reserve.. Both in value and size. Lol

Carlos. Ball only makes a couple million jars a year, you can't possibly expect them to keep up.

A terrible task,,,don't spill any,, :D

I have about 4 cases of spare jars, quarts, pints & loads of the little Jelly size.
If you want to drop by, I'll leave the shed unlocked. :p

Carlos, What size jars do you mostly use? I've found over the years that I use almost no quart jars anymore. Two thirds are pint and one third are half pint. I've now got a couple of cases of quart jars, both regular and wide mouth, that I don't use any more.

I would think Spring to be a good time to hunt up jars...don't look in late Summer/Early Fall...THAT'S when all the women are puttin' stuff up.

Invest in a good coleman cooler or six. All my tins and boxes go into those. In the long run it is cheaper than the equal space of jars, maybe not quite as space efficient. And it is so much fun when you dig to the bottom and find something you bought years ago and forgot about.

I got to do some new pics. I cannot find anything! I think I know where stuff is, but it's not at all organized. Except for most of the GL Pease stuff. I have been looking for a couple jars of an unusual Syrian latakia blend and cannot seem to find them. Piles of stuff. Cabinets stuffed nearly full. Sacks. Open tins and bags abound. What a mess.
