So, a couple of months ago I picked up a Jobey estate pipe on ebay for very little green. It needed a little work in the clean up department but was otherwise in great shape. After cleaning up the screw in tenon to shank connection the stem was off center to the bowl (yea there was that much gunk in there).
I was pretty bummed about it but I really liked the look of this little poker so I started looking around at options to getting it fixed. I decided to send it off to Walker Briar Works and couldn't be happier. He replaced the screw tenon with a standard slide in tenon and it works great. It also opened up the draw a little bit which was really nice.
Dave was great to work with and had great communication through the whole process. He got the work done super fast and was really reasonable on the price for his time.
Walker Briar Works, highly recommended!
