Thanks for your help.Best way to check that would be open it and see if there is a flint remnant in it. It is likely held in place with a long spring. Failing that, take the lighter to a Brick and Mortar tobacconist shop, a tobacco specialty shop. See if someone on staff there can help you, and be sure to ask them to show you how. A good pipe and cigar specialty shop will gladly help you out.
