I have a Kaywoodie, made by Bill himself, as 2016 POY for Brotherhood of International Pipe Smokers. Only 20 of these pipes were made. I smoke mine almost every day, it is one marvellous, pretty, beautiful, excellent smoking pipe
Your right, one of these days soon I need to smoke it, if I drop dead it surely would be sold....... :lol!: :lol!:

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

It's great to have a well-focused collection ... or sub-collection. I like the Celius shape 12 and collected all the grades, Pawn through King. Then I got tired of them (they're all kind of wet smokers) and sold all but the King. Then I went to Oom Pauls, starting with Dunhills (OK, Hungarians) in Tanshell, Shell, and Red Bark. Picked up a beautiful cross-grained Comoy's Oom Paul, a Hardcastle, and a few others including an unstamped one that reminded me of the old Barling Oom Paul shape, tall slender bowl, very upright appearance. Now, I'm tired of Oom Paul's and am just watching for pipes that grab me, without focusing on anything in particular.

I just bought a 01 Yacht from ebay for 17 bucks it was the cleanest pipe I've bought from an estate so far, and a great looking pipe. Had previously bought a pre 1936 suntan rock ambera that looked like one my dad had years ago, both seem to be great pipes. I may have become a Kaywoodie collector.
