Any Lasse Skovgaard owners up in this piece? I've been intrigued by his shapes (and prices) and have been looking to pick one up, so I figured I would ask for input from my favorite folks on the interwebz. Bit work is prolly what I am most interested in, as a think comfortable bit seems to be getting more and more important to me in the pipes I enjoy. Drilling, finish, balance, smoking qualities, etc would also be much appreciated...any input would be most welcome.

I found a couple of previous threads but didn't get a whole lot from them, although nobody had anything to say but good things.

Ahh to heck with it, I couldn't hold out any longer...just broke down and bought one.

Frost, I don't know from Lasse's pipes, but I love this thread. Took all of 30 minutes to go from doing research and due dilligence to "Screw it, I'm buying the pipe." We've all been there, man.

I bet it'll smoke great. Rock on!

Well I found one from a reputable source (pipestud), under $200 buy it now price (first I have seen that low), with a nice sandblast finish in a shape I was diggin'. Hard to pass it up, and I'm not sure I would have been able to sleep last night if I had let it go

You will not be disappointed. Lasse makes a great pipe. I own 5 and they are great looking and fantastic smokers.

Yep, I got the pipe and I love almost everything about it...smoked it a few times now and every smoke was great. I'm definately going to have to pick up a couple more at some point.

I've owned several Lasse's and currently own 2. I find them to be well constructed, great balance, and the internal mechanics are fantastic. All have been smokin machines:)
