If you ever make a trip to Silver Dollar City near Branson, MO be sure and stop by the leather shop and grab yourself a hand made leather hat crafted by Ada Swearingen. Top of the line craftsmanship at a reasonable price. I grabbed on last spring and it will serve me well during the fall and winter months.

just saw this post, I have a full grain leather hat purchased online from a firm called koala, served me very well for a few years now and I don't go out without it. a good coating of wax 1-2 times a year and its better than any umbrella
