Sweet idea. How much weight they hold? Think it'd hold up a coat?

maybe a jacket will be fine I think some of the heavier coats not so sure but it will hold all the hats you have, thanks for looking

Definitely going to be hitting up the thrift shops and stealing this idea.

What a great idea, resourceful, recycling in full swing and it is very cool, love it Richard, like the new/old pipe too.   :sunny:

Cool idea, man you are tough on pipes!
my wife went to a flea market and got a bag full of old beat up pipes for like $3.00 came home with a big smile on her face and said look what I got you, most were very dirty old kaywoodies which had old chewed up stems to I thought why not use them and get my hats out of a box. It was fun making the rack and now I can use the pipes.

Best Regards
Richard

The picture of the one pipe I just made it wasn't old the antler in the stem is old had it for many years figured I would use it on this pipe, thanks again for the kind words

I'm sure you got alot of Brothers gears turning with your idea Richard. It will be interesting to see what others come up with after seeing this thread.

That's pretty dadburn ingenious sir, now you got me thinking.
A shame I don't have any broken ones but, some cheap cobs might work nice.

Nice repurposing there Richard! Love that new pipe too looks like a grand little handful.

Ron pick you up a box of Chinese cobs off of flea bay it'd be the best thing you could do with them(except maybe use em to start a fire)

I know your right Jim

Both are fine work Richard. Love the hat rack and find the pipe particularly attractive. Well done.

Thank you brothers for the kind words, both were fun to make have a few more old pipes so I have enough for one more rack I guess I don't need to get any more hats.

Best Regards
Richard
