I bought a tin in my last order, and upon opening the box, noticed that the tin had been dented in transit. I plan on cracking it open this weekend. Hopefully it will live up to the hype I have seen all over the internet. Has anyone here tried it? I've read good things about Legends from you all.

I thought it was awesome, personally. I think it's by far the best English or Balkan blend from McClelland and ranks up there with the best of GL Pease (Odyssey, Abingdon). It's VERY complex, with a heavy Syrian latakia/oriental flavor.
I'm hoping to order a large stash soon for my cellar. In fact, it's the only "Syrian" blend since Renaissance that interested me enough to stockpile.
I haven't tried Legends yet, but it's on my short list of blends to try.

Never Smoked it, interesting info here, thanks for sharing, keep us posted on what you think Cody!

I notice you are from Knoxville. Any local tobacco shops up there you would recommend checking out? I'll be up that way in a couple of weeks

Just finished my first tin of Wilderness - it's tasty stuff but stops short of greatness in my opinion. Were it cheaper it would be worth it, but as it is - better tobacco to be had for the money.

I did pick up some more tins of Legends after finishing the first - also not quite the be all end all, as the fine tobaccos in the blend are in sparing quantities - but I shuddered at the thought of not having a bit in the cellar.

Thanks for the info, Renaissance is one of only 3 blends I ever amassed a lifetime supply of. I will surely look into this new blend (at least it's new to me, I've never heard of it).

Had my first bowl of Wilderness last evening. I am not a regular English/Oriental smoker but after reading all the hype about this one I had to pick up a tin at the local B&M and give it a try.

If I was to become an Oriental smoker, this is the sort of blend that could lure me to it. I found the smokiness of the 2 Lat's to be just right, pronounced but not in your face. This allowed the sweetness of the Va to come through loud and clear, which is my usual complaint with other English type blends. My tin was quite dry especially compared to other McC blends, was ready to smoke immediately upon opening.

I will give this a go for the next few evenings but I may have found an English blend that I can add to the regular rotation!

It seems to be pretty good. Had more strength than the Frogs. But it's still a mild blend in the Vitamin N department. It's as strong as any from McClelland gets. Not sure it's as good as Bombay or Bombay Court with 10 years of age. It is not a Nightcap substitute. I have seen "similar to Nightcap" mentioned by some. I will keep smoking it. Maybe it will grow on me.
