Just keep at them. After the first session on some of my pipes when I thought I'd done a decent job the view under direct sunlight (horrors!) showed lingering green crud. Some pipes are just plain stubborn in releasing the oxidation, especially at the shank end and the transition points on saddle bits.pepesdad1":yltdhidz said:Well, I tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, some elbow grease, chapstick, etc. It worked. . not wondeful but a hell of a lot better than before. I also use mouthpiece polish after the eraser treatment, then hand buff with mineral oil. "New".
