My burgeoning pipe tool collection...(!)

Well folks, I never thought I'd ever say this, but I seem to have developed quite the penchant for pipe tool tamper combos

It certainly crept up on me, in fact I recall once joking with a fellow pipeman that I could never really collect pipe tools as such because they were all so practical - who needs more than a couple right?!

One for the shed/workshop, one for the allotment, and maybe one for your piperoll so you're always ready to go?

Well, here's what I have so far. I know it's a modest collection, but it's far more than I ever thought I'd have...

The very space age styled Bradberry Rocket Reamer and the decidedly 80s digital styled Borkum Riff Pipemaster 2000 are my latest acquisitions.

My collection through the years. It is amazing how it builds up through time. Someone mentioned on another board their collection so I thought I would check to see what I had and was amazed on how much I collected through the years. The deer antler tampers with the brass tips I created.

Isn't it just! Around half of mine were deliberate purchases, the rest picked up in trades or acquired in lots of pipes I've picked up.

I do rather like your horn tampers, I find horn has a lovely tactile quality to it don't you think?

Got you beat. I have 3. A czech multi tool, an aluminum pipe nail, and a beautiful wood and brass tamper gifted me by Mikem. I never use it just set it out to look at.

I have a few Brebbia pipe nails, a Czech tool, and a couple of gifted wooden tampers. I seem to give away my tools when the collection grows too much.
