I've had this German made pipe rack for years now. It holds eight pipes as well as having room for tobacco storage. I'm guessing it's from the 50's or early 60's but cannot really tell. Don't quote me on that. I might decide to sell or trade it someday. Right now it's the only rack I have.

Neat looking! Now ya need to get some pipes to put in it

I know monbla256! I really do. I just started smoking a pipe last October. The best pipe I have thus far price wise is a Savinelli Duca Carlo which I purchased from PipesandCigars. Other than that I have two no name bulldogs, and two no name straight billiards and 5 cobs. I'd feel embarrassed showing the pipes I own on here. After I took the images of the stand I put my pipes back around it. I'm on a very limited budget and Mattia at Viking Club Pipes is a nice guy who is holding a pipe for me!

If anyone has some pipes they want to sale please let me know.

No reason to be embarrassed, durham...smoke your own smoke, as that saying I hate goes. One of my favorite pipes to smoke is one that I don't think is the best looking pipe. But I love the feel in my hand and the smoke that it gives...ain't t'all 'bout the looks.

If it makes your feel better, I wish your stand was mine! :face:

One sweet stand, for sure...

Doesn't matter what brand or whatever your pipes are.they are YOURS and work for you :p I was merely rematking on how forlorn your nice rack looked WITHOUT any pipes in it

I really like that rack, and I'm not usually crazy about pipe racks.
It has kind of a Black Forest look to it, and I have a fondness for Old German folk art.
Don't be afraid to post pics of pipes either. It's not the brand that matters, it's the love that counts! And If you've got more volk kunst, show it off!

Very nice piece of vintage collectible tobacciania! 8)

Might not go with most decor, but it's a pretty unique piece. I dig it.

Price tags on pipes don't matter as much as how well they smoke. My $60 sav smokes GREAT! My $25 GBD and Pete 69 estates see as much or not more time in my hand as the $300 Radice. Smoke what you can afford and love.

That rack is awesome. Fill it up with cobs!

I echo this, I had not tried a corncob pipe before coming to this board. Man for their low price, they smoke great!

Nice looking pipe rack with the rumidor in it, the scotty dog on top is like icing on the cake.
