My new order just arrived :)! My new pipe is my first Peterson.

Home run!! 8)

All tried and true classic blends and a Peterson is always a welcome addition. You did your homework!

As you try them, let me know if you can tell any difference between the Escudo and the Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls.

i tried the navy rolls last week for the first time. i was impressed, but not wow'd. by which i mean, it's a very fine smoke - almost too much so IMO. it's exceptionally refined, in fact. but that's all it is. if all you want is to drive a big-ass mercedes all day long up and down the interstate, that's your 'baccy. if you want to drive something sporty and enjoy some back roads and on/off ramps, that's not your 'baccy.

IME, YMVV!

The only ones I have tried are Sasieni which I love and Escudo which I have to be in the mood for.

I think I will let them all age a bit before I open them, I am working on the tobacco's I bought back in November first which have 5 months of aging at least from the time I purchased them. I have another 5 month old tin of London mixture I want to try. The Sasieni I am smoking now I opened last week, which was also purchased in November. It is amazing.

I just cracked my first tin of Sasieni, and after a big bowl in my large Upshall, this is a nice English blend, just the right amount of Latakia.

Good choice on the London Mixture.
It's a rare weekend that my house doesn't smell like London Mix.

Already tried out the Peterson with some Saseini, it smokes amazingly. I'm not a big fan of aromatics, they tend to bite my tongue a bit. I love the way English blends taste.

SCORE!! Nice haul buddy, you have some really good baccy there. Let us know what you think of them as you crack those tins.

nice start smoking angel... if you start to become a fan of english blends/balkan/ latakia mixes May I HIGHLY suggest the following

McClelland-
British Woods
Bombay Court
Oriental Mix 14
Frog Morton

Sam Gawith
Squadron Leader

I will definitely consider those man. Squadron Leader is one of my favorites and I have an opened tin of Frog Morton. The rest I am yet to try. I have 3 tins of SL aging, and have one open tin.
