For anyone interested in the Clive Merrison/Andrew Sachs "Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" series that has been on the BBC for the past 12 years, there is a new episode available for download. I am going to include a link to the site, but make sure to sign up first before downloading. Pretty much every Sherlock Holmes series ever broadcast on the radio is available! Clive Merrison does the part wonderfully IMO though! Even though comparing radio to TV is comparing apples to oranges, I feel that Merrison plays the role every bit as good as Jeremy Brett, if not better! The Merrison/Sachs series was the first ever to record the complete "Canon", after which they decided to record new adventures, based on suggestions out of the original stories. The new adventure is titled "The Marlbourne Mystery", is a two part episode, and is based on a reference made in "The Empty House". Check it out and make sure to check out all the downloads available. It is a great message board for Sherlockians and there is plenty of free downloads available!

hey, thanks for the link...great site!!! besides holmes there are several other detective/mystery groups available.
thanks again, jrtaster/john
Very true indeed. I am on 5 groups on timespast and I enjoy everyone of them. There is a lot of Nero Wolfe recordings available from the 1950's when Nero Wolfe was played by Sydney Greenstreet and Archie was played by Harry Bartell. There is another detective, known as the poor man's Sherlock Holmes, who I enjoy. His name is Sexton Blake. Look him up on there and you will find about a dozen episodes, all of which are quite good. Glad you enjoyed the link though. Take care!
