afternoon all
just joined a few moments ago--have read the mail for a while--interesting stuff here--
i'm an older fella--retired--simple tastes--i enjoy burleys and briars for the most part--nothing wrong with a decent cavendish if it's done right--40 years ago my favorite blend was the old Flying Dutchman--today it's seemingly whatever i can find--local tobacco availability is pretty sad--
my pipes are old, like their owner, but are good friends--GBD, BARLING, and BC are my 3 nicer briars--the rest are kaywoodies, grabows, medicos etc---nothing younger than 38 years on my rack except a Meer that was gifted to me by my blood brother--
i'm here to learn, and help if i can--thanks for having me--
