Lately I’ve been liking Virginia blends. I came from smoking cigars for several years. I started out with a couple of aromatics and thought they were ok but just kinda nasty by the end of the bowl. Typical beginner aromatics like 1Q and cherry stuff. I realized pretty quickly I liked non-aros better. I tried some MM965 and it was pretty good. But one day at a B&M I frequent, the owner jokingly told me I needed to stock up on some Sir John’s Virginia Flake, as he knows me by name, and my first name is John. I bought a tin and fell in love. Now that’s my go-to blend but I’ve learned that I love most quality VA’s more than other blend types.
