Thanks to Brewdude for the lead on the Black Swan Shoppe I've added the Peterson's Moran I've been lusting after.  It's the first new pipe I've bought in several years, but something about this shape just told me I needed it.  Plus I'm a sucker for diamond shanks.  I'm very pleased with the pipe and must say the Black Swan folks gave me a great price and excellent service.  Here she is...

That is a gorgeous pipe!
That diamond shank, and boat prow heel look great
on that shape. Killer grain, as usual.
Very nice!

Vary nice Pete idlefellow. Have to admit I've not seen one with a diamond shank like that. Glad Kris and Co at the Black Swan could help you out. Splendid chaps, all of 'em.

Cheers,

RR

Fine looking Pete...the diamond shank gives it an elegance..really stands out.

That is one beautiful pipe! Congratulations!  I love that shape.

Peterson lover here....nice one for sure. I just wish they had bigger bowls on them.

Yes!
And more acrylic stem options...

Well, she's a solid 7/8" wide and 1-3/4" deep, just about where I'd want her.  Any bigger than that and she'd be a house pipe for me; I grab one of my calabashs for that duty.  This pipe deserves to be out and about.  My pre-Republic pot is a smidge smaller, actually.  And she's got nice wall thickness; a cool smoke, I'm thinkin'!  As for the acrylic stems, well, yeah...

Ya, that's a pretty respectable bowl size. Bigger than most of my Pete's. Should give one at least an hr of sipping. Perhaps longer!

Cheers,
