Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and pipes in general. Always loved the smell of a pipe since I was a child and my uncle smoked one. As a teenager I smoked a corn cob a dozen times or so. But was hooked on ciggarets. For way too many years I smoked ciggs and cigars. Have been quit for many years. During Christmas I started wanting to smell some pipe tobacco. So first I bought some Paladin and sprinkled it in a candle. Well I kept researching online and found a great new hobby. I love carving pipes. I'm not going to be an everyday pipe smoker. Just at special times of the year or when the time just seems right. But I'm glad I found this site. Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello.

Welcome to BoB, would be great to see some of the pipes you have carved, should you feel like showing us of course. :)

I thought you were gonna say candle-making there for a second! :lol!:
Welcome aboard, Miller.

Welcome to the Brotherhood!
Please come back often and join in.

Sure - it starts with smoking a pipe only on holidays and special occasions. Before long, everyday is a holiday or special occasion, and often times more than once a day.

Welcome and keep posting. I'm betting that, as Rob posted above, every day will become a special occasion to smoke a pipe.
