Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Finally got my lap top back, so I can post again. Hope that doesn't frighten you. ;)

Decided to rub a slice of Va Slices and I'm spending the evening with my clays. Va is really good in a clay, I barely smoke anything else in the. Although, I imagine a cube cut burley would be very good in one as well, I will try some RR match in them before long. Have a good night, guys!

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Throughout the day, my cats and all the ferals except for the still absent Abner the Eager have eaten quite a bit of food. As cold as it is, I suspect they want a little extra food cushion.

Just finished a bowl of Kringle's Delight in my MM cob while I listen to the end of my audio book The Hidden Palace.
I've been staring at the wall trying to figure out how to store/display my tobacco and pipes while I'm in this shipping container waiting for the house to be built.
I think version 297.6 will work. I'll be shopping for wood tomorrow.
For now I'll find another smoke and start looking for a pipe.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 159 *4 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Then, I smoked a bowl of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Currently, I've passed the last third of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Been busy with various things, including a long chat with a friend. The ferals have full bellies more or less. Still haven't seen Abner the Eager, and with snow and sleet coming later today, I doubt I'll see him until the bad weather passes.

Good Afternoon my friends and fellow BoBs. It is absolutely freezing here in old blighty at the moment, I can't remember being this cold, since my military days, Artic training in the middle of winter, in the mountains of Norway. But that's another story, more fitting for a different forum. Right now I'm about to fill a Falcon, fitted with a Meershaum bowl, with some Condor, and throw another log on the fire. Have a great day my friends 🙂.

Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Deciding on whether or not to chance a set of walking reps before the snow hits.

Looks like it may have been fashioned from a fountain pen from the 40s or 50s.
It has that look, the reason I bought it, but it is a new tamper. 8Deco makes them and they are purpose-built, they are not made from previous fountain pen barrels and caps. It's just a style they produce.

Replaced a mortice and tenon on my Tomato meer. For some reason they break really easily now, I suspect they are making the mortices using a 3-d printer and the material is just garbage. Turning the stem in the shank is enough to stretch them and then a break is only a few cleanings away. The tenons are far more durable. Anyway, I'm going to have a bowl of CH in my MMBB with my now-cold coffee.

Just finished smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. The last of this bag of Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink.

Enjoyed a late, but tasty lunch, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. It's been snowing for a while, and everything is covered. Wish I knew were Tomato the Brave is hiding. I suspect Abner the Eager is still at his real home. We haven't seen him in several days. The others are here.

Half way through this bowl of C&D Firebird Flake (Small Batch) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Finally got a handle on this blend. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Mark Twain in my MM cob with a cup of coffee. I'm taking the rest of the day off so I'll start thinking about another bowl of something.
Had to do a rooster culling this morning. Too many for the number of hens due to a cockup last fall with the hatchery. They're beating up my girls so they have to go. Never fun.
I just put forty eight eggs into the incubator for a friend. I'll do another forty eight tomorrow.
I'm swimming in eggs. I washed and boxed forty eight dozen yesterday. I'll be selling them on the side of the road until the my regular market opens up. Opens up lots of pipe time.
