Drop-dead gorgeous! But $2.5K gorgeous? I don't think so. I am comforted far more by a rough estimate of the wealth, and hypothetically enjoying it, than I would be for owning the pipe.

Buy four such pipes and spend $1000, 40 and it's $10,000. The numbers quickly daunt me.

I don't know about drop-dead gorgeous.  I have to go with unique.

It is sacrilegious I know; but, I wonder just how well or poorly those pipes smoked.  They sure didn't have longevity on their side.  We look down on stingers and that is just a different form of one.  It goes even further by extending a smooth, non-permeable airway all the way to the bowl.  I bet a lot of them were wet smokers and people removed them.

I wonder if we are substituting its uniqueness for greatness.
