Am I dense, or what? Anyone else have trouble making sense of this site, the new home of Forever Stems for corncobs? I'm tempted just to order a bag of plastic stems from Missouri Meerschaum and call the job done.

Order standard length lucite either in black or tortoise. Was told via e-mail that it comes in neither. Difficult to match the colors they do have with whatever else is available because none are depicted, if I'm clicking properly.

I went to the site and it shows Tortoise in standard length, either there out of them or someone there doesn't know what there selling. The way I look at it you can purchase a Lucite stem any color for $5-$6 at Pipemakers Emporium and fit it yourself money. $23 is an awful lot for a Cob stem if ya ask me.

Pipemakers Emporium

Better hurry if you go to Pipemaker's Emporium. Got an email from them today...

"Thank you for your online order. We are in the process of updating our
website. We are out of VU2013.

Sorry for the inconveneince. Would you like to try a different one?

Our company has been put up for sale, so we will not be reordering. SOrry for the inconveneince.

Have a wonderful day.

Richard - I went on the site yesterday and felt exactly the same way. The display of all the multi-colored stems catching your eye and then zipping out of sight over and over and over was getting me royally pissed off. I'd LIKE to just have the chance to LOOK at them at my own convenience. Well, I still won't have all my Missouri Meerschaums shipped to me until Saturday, so I won't be in the market for a "Forever Stem" (hopefully) for awhile.

OK - So I just went on that site again and I see you can actually get the chance to see the stems in all their variations. But how can you figure out which one goes with which pipe? I guess once I get all my pipes and familiarize myself with them smoking them 24 hours a day I'll be well enough acquainted with all the stems that I'll know just how to spend that 5 grand on those stems.....I just looked at the prices...MAN! They're REALLY EXPENSIVE!

You tryin' to break up with me, Wiz?

No..........

Just sayin' this is all going so fast, and, well, I think we need some time as, well, friends, yah know?

Friends is a good start, and if things get serious again, we have our heads about us.

Are we OK? Maybe call me this weekend when the Peyote wears off, all right?
