Passing the last third of this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

C&D Firebird Flake (Small Batch)
Is that the new blend with Latakia and Dark Fired Kentucky? Are you reviewing it?

Had to do a rooster culling this morning. Too many for the number of hens due to a cockup last fall with the hatchery
Coc au Vin for dinner?

Coc au Vin for dinner?
There's no Latakia in it. It's three Orientals, two DFK, and three red and orange Va.s. The tin says they're all red, but Jeremy Reeves said two are orange. I've mostly finished the review.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. This may get me to dinner time.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth dark brown 1896 W.H. Newman, Ltd. billiard with a sterling silver band and a tapered yellow and orange stem with white swirls and an orific bit. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Tomato the Brave showed up a couple of minutes ago, and I dried him off before I fed him. Harry the Hairy was out and back in five times while it was snowing. When the snow turned to rain (shades of Dan Fogelberg), he looked out, and ran to the couch. He finally showed some sense, the silly fella. Here's a few pics of Harry relaxing like a king.

I gave my daughter's boyfriend Chris a Peterson churchwarden and eight pipes I refurbished for Christmas at my pipe club meeting last night. That and a boat load of tobacco.
He's a retired vessel inspector so I found him a Coast Guard Zippo to go with them.
Here's his first bowl. He said it smokes nice and feels great. All I could hope for.
Now I'm going to have a little bit of Savinelli in my Savinelli and join him.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2018 Dunhill London Mixture in a brown medium bend 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a military mount and a tapered black acrylic stem. Watching The Durango Kid.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.
