Really, this should mean a PAD and TAD scaleback
That's an understatement!

Congratulations Doc.

Homes of that era are a pleasure to work on, the quality of material and craftsmanship far exceeds what's been produced for the last 30 years.

Wishing you a great move and smoking parlor set up.

Congrats, Doc
I'm sure it won't keep you away from future Newark Pipe Shows. !!!!! It's not a long drive from New Haven, and you still have the Owl Shop close by for a B&M.
Glad to see you are making the move. :D :D :D
the other Doc :lol!:

A very quick bump to thank you for all the good wishes for the move, and to let you know that we have officially completed the move.

Those of you who have my contact info saved somewhere (trading buddies etc.) should know that the previous address is defunct, although we're subletting the place and have mail forwarding set up, so anything sent to the old spot should get here sooner or later.

As for the most important part of the move, pipes and tobacco are uncrated and my study/Man Room is starting to take shape. Still a lot of stuff in boxes, but no pipes lost (though I did have a few panicked moments of "where'd I put that?"), air filter humming quietly, and the obligatory painting of a naked lady (painted by my girlfriend) on the wall.

Hope your household's Christmastime is shaping up to be as fine as mine.

That is awesome! Congrats! I have friends in CT so if I am in the area I may take you up on a smoke!

You--and any Brothers who find yourselves on the shoreline of the Nutmeg State--are more than welcome. Just drop me a line. The comfy chair will be carted out of storage soon and the place will be ready for company.

Congratulations Doc, hope your first Christmas in your new home is an outstanding one,,,

You should watch Christmas in Connecticut so you can say, "They ain't go nothing on us!" :p

Congatulations! It's a big hassle moving and dealing with all the utilities

days ago and am just getting settled. We spent a week in a Richmond hotel
