Interesting article from a non-industry writer. I liked the descriptions of the smells..

I have smoked the Santa Fe blend the article spoke of. The blend is 'Perique' under the Native Spirit brand. I noticed it as I walked by the RYO section at the baccy store. Interesting, not worth a damn in a pipe, but interesting none the less.

Good article, but the comments are just as interesting. Seems anti's brainwashing is getting worse. One wrote, "Too bad for me tobacco killed my father." Another equated the history of perique to that of the noose.
