Petersons and Pipe Cleaners

Years back I had 12 Petes, none of which accepted a mid smoke cleaner. Tho I like how they smoked I ended up selling nearly all of them. Then I stumbled into the spigot and military mount Petes which can be broken down mid smoke and presto I was in Pete heaven. Tho the silver spigot line can run you into some dollars, the new blasted Kildare line, developed jointly by Sykes over at smoking pipes dot com & Peterson are under a hundred, with a nickel rather than silver stem cap and an acrylic stem. Highly recommended and solves the cleaner problem Petes are unfortunately famous for.

I'll ditto Kashmir's reccomendation for the Kildare line from smokingpipes. I have a 999 Kildare as well. They are excellent smokers, a good value, and quite nice looking.

Fortunately the dad is a woodworking genius, and one of these days he'll put aside his far-out lifestyle and build me a pipe rack. :lol:
