Since the iPad does not allow you to browse the file system, my guess is no. I tried it before on my iPad and couldn't figure it out. I think the iOS is so locked down that you can't even browse to the gallery through the "Host an Image" button in the safari based browser.
It's a definite issue with the iPad. The lack of a file explorer makes it less of a computing device than a media consumption pad. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPad, then again, my son uses it more than I do.
