Martin,
I was just trying to think of ways to make reviews consistent.
If people refer to a shape chart you are more likely to have consistent named for their pipes.
Could the shapes could be on a separated tab that people are referred to?

Hey Bub,

Thanks for your help with this. I've wrestled with the importance of the pipe's shape and previous versions of the site had this option in the review forms.

I think I'll need to add it, because I think you're correct. It'll help people list the reviews by shape and will hopefully help with getting the review they want.

Have a good Memorial Day!

Martin

You will see some substantial navigation changes over the coming hours. If you are visiting the site, please bear with me as I adjust the menus. I have finished cross-indexing all the reviews, but still have to cross-index the actual review forms. All this means is that I'm slowly creating two menus that will make it easier for you to navigate.

After these menus are enabled, I will begin adding pipe shapes to the review forms. This second step will be a lengthy one, but one I hope to complete over the coming week.

Please continue your feedback, and let me know if anything I've set up so far doesn't make sense. I want this to be a site that everyone can use to learn more about our favorite hobby!

Sincerely,

Martin

If you feel so inclined, please see the latest changes and let me know if what I've done is intuitive so far. I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm going to do this in stages.

Right now there is a "Reviews" link which lists only submitted reviews. This way the user doesn't have to slog through dozens of menu items.

Below that is the menu for "Submit a Review." I'm having to cross index this, and I've started that process already. But you'll see pipe makers in different menu areas, such as "Rad Davis" in "Rad" and "Davis."

I hope I'm driving the people on BoB nuts with this, but I'm doing all I can to make a site that we (hopefully) can get benefit from and enjoy using.

Thanks,

Martin
