pipesandcigars has a sale on Hearth and Home 8 oz. Buy two @ $17.XX and get one free. With shipping that's about $43.00 for 1.5 pounds, a good price to be sure. You can't get most pounds for that price, and it includes shipping. But sadly I know next to nothing about these blends.

Any recommendations?

I really like Anniversary Kake. I just recently purchased a pound of Black House bulk, if they have the 8oz tin, I'd say give that a whirl as well.

The most unique blends H&H offers that I've tried are VA Spice which is a VA with Cigar Leaf, and Sweet and Savory which is heavy on the orientals, but without any latakia. If you're looking for a tasty change of pace, I can recommend both.

Curious am I, what exactly are the tobaccos involved when a blender states Orientals, it's all a bit of a mystery to me!?

i ordered the first time Hearth and Home blends.

I choose d Burley Cake and Hall of Fame.

At this time i wanna try some bacci with more burley.

My package will arrive tomorrow,also in the box some Wessex Burley slice.

hopefully all goes well with getting this job and then if its still on sale i plan on picking up some myself. Could someone fill me in on weather hearth and home is a metal tin for a container or a tub style. Kinda hope its a tin as my father collects old tins.

I'm budgeting $200.00; that's 6 pounds, plus 3 free, or 9 lbs @ $22/pound. Not bad! And I was smoking the Classic Burley Kake this morning--tasty burley with complexity. I got some cigar notes and others as well that I can't as yet identify.

Sale is through 11/14.

Thanks Mike. I bought a small tin of Classic Burley Kake during their last sale. I can't get past the tin note. It smells like Play-Doh. :lol:
