Hard to beat Larry's Blend if anyone is in the market for a full bodied English/Balkan blend.
I second that. This one has an interaction between the Latakia and other leaf that gives those big, magic sour notes. Great in a pot or large conical bored Dublin.

Simple Man sent me four samples along with the Edwards I bought from him, Classic Burley Kake among them. When I put them on my desk the aroma from one of them was quite strong, even though in the bag, which turned out to be the burley. The odor subsided after 48 hours. Smoking it this morning I certainly picked up on it, but it wasn't offensive. I'm not an aro guy and wouldn't buy it if I knew it had been aggressively topped, but I figure if I can enjoy 1792, I can certainly give something a whirl. Very glad I did!

I notice the 8.oz tins were $17.41 each two weeks ago, and now they are $17.99. Still a great deal on the sale though. I liked it better when the tins were $14.95 last year. During their Dec. 20% off sale, I heavily stocked up on their blends, and am set for years now.

I'd say that this is one of those killer deals that you take out a second mortgage on to get the cash to buy heavy. But then again I am known to buy heavy in any event;).
