You really can't go wrong with most of the PW tobaccos. Wilke as a phenomenal pipe shop back in the day when it was located on Madison Ave. in NYC and has been around in one form or another since the late 1800s so a lot of PW blends have been around for a long time. In addition to excellent tobacco Wilke also made some excellent pipes. I have about a dozen and they are all great smokers. Carole recently had a line of unsmoked Wilke briars from the 1950s made of Algerian briar unfortunately they are all gone. If you can find any estate Wilke's I strongly suggest you pick some up, they are generally reasonably priced. I agree with the posts re NBB it's a great smoke. And, yes, Carole knows her tobacco and she is a pleasure to deal with.
