"Rain" Tonight at Wolftrap VA

We're off to see the Beatles show by "Rain" at Wolftrap in Virginia. Our neighbors went last night and sait they were great. I'm primarily a Beatles fan of the latter years. Wolftrap is a wonderful outdoor venue (actually a state park) but their webpage said smoking is restricted to a few designated areas, no lawn, etc. But, bringing a Boswell and some Northwoods just in case.....<g>

Saw Rain last year at KC's Starlight theater, another outdoor venue. It actually did drizzle during the show but the wife and I had taken our goretex so we sat through it in decent comfort.

You won't regret going, I have only ever been a casual Beatles fan but the costumes and original film clips they used as part of each era really made the show a memorable event.

Saw Rain quite a few years ago in Seattle and they flat out rocked!

They did a progression of sets starting from the beginnings of the fab four complete with appropriate instruments and costumes. Each set encompassed the particular era and influences. (Being a picker I can appreciate this).

The musicianship and vocal harmonies were outstanding. It was almost like being transported back in time to the day and age!

When they come around again here I'll surely be there. What a great tribute band!

They didn't disappoint. I do enjoy the various era's and video sequencing to go along with the music and costumes. $40 for great tickets, amazing.
