Mr. Davis' reputation in Birmingham is one of a "craftsman". Maybe a notice should be hung at the local B&M announcing the change to "pipe engineer".

It is not nice the way you pipe makers keep trying to trick us laymen.

Call it what you may. You pipe makers are knowingly pushing an addictive product. We need laws to limit marketing of these dangerous blocks of briar.

1. All pipe pictures should now be taken immediately after the briar has been drilled.

2. If the grain of the briar is good or exceptional, it must be covered with denim.

3. Stems will be left in the natural state of round rod. All shaping is strictly prohibited.

4. All marketing shall list only pipe dimensions. No pictures allowed!

5. Any pipe found in a finish better than a rough sanding, should be mailed to our department.



Note: We have found your pipes to be more addictive than a "throwed" roll. Lambert's Cafe is the next target of our Department.
