Well gentle folk, I arrived home today to find a parcel on the door mat marked Gauntleys of Nottingham.  Keen to get stuck in I loaded my pipe with a bowlful of the hand blended cherry and vanilla.  A very satisfying and agreeable smoke ensued.  Apologies but my palate isn't as refined as most of yours but, suffice to say, it was definately the sweetest smoke I've managed to find.  No tongue bite or gurgle, just the ticket for a novice like me.  I recon I've found a new favourite tobacco.  A big thank you must go to Brewdude for Gauntleys tip off; thank you Sir.   

So very glad to hear this worked a charm for you mate. First rate is Gauntley's, and no mistake.

I'm not an aro smoker myself as I pretty much go to ginnys and VaPers, but whatever ticks your fancy in your pipe voyage is right enough.

Wise words indeed there Brewdude. Gauntleys; I tapped out the order on Wed evening, it was on my door mat Friday morning, and in my pipe Fri evening. First class service and a top drawer smoke. The journey continues...
