Recommendations on consignment sales

Hi all,

I am considering thinning out my herd and rather than doing the PITA eBay route was thinking of going consignment. Anybody who has done this and can recommend someone would be greatly appreciated.

Between the two Ebay consignment sellers "pipestud" and "great-estate-pipes", I have cleared out more than 80 of my pipes in 2011. Were I to sell more pipes I would not hesitate to use either of them again.

If you don't want to go the ebay route I would recommend BriarBlues

And BriarBlues is in Canada.

PipeStud won't sell to Canadians. Says it is too difficult to take the package to the post office. He'll gladly take your pipes on consignment though.

I anticipate all sorts of problems with using a USA based consignment seller. I think that a conversation with Briar Blues may be fruitful.
