Anyone know where I can buy a retort kit for cleaning estate pipes? I have looked around on eBay and many other places and have not found where I can buy one. I know you can make one yourself, but it would be handy to buy a kit. Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

I just noticed that one is available from a seller in Greece, but it would be nice to find one a bit closer with a chance to get one more quickly.

Thank you very much! I tried several different searches on eBay, but never found this. I just pulled the trigger and bought this item. It seems like it will do a great job and the price is very good. And free shipping.

By the way, I like your avatar, but if that's a pic of you, I can't say that you look young for your stated age of 47. I'm 71 and am starting to look like the guy in your avatar.

How good are these systems for cleaning your estates? I mean is it better than the often spoke of salt / alcohol combo?

Bill, lol, some folks think that everyone from Alabama looks like the guy in the pic, and is married to their first cousin, so i just figured I would humor them. Plus, I like the fact that he is armed, drinking, and smokin' a cob! :lol!:

Jay, I'm not sure about their effectiveness, I've never used one.

Fair enough...thanks for the reply though. :)
I will try to remember to post about my success or failure with this kit. I just recently used the salt/alcohol method for the first time. One pipe was remarkably improved and went from a poor smoker to a good one overnight. The other pipe was somewhat improved and might profit from a second treatment or the retort treatment. I am looking forward to trying the retort kit and think it will be fun to do.
