Woah, was away for a while and didn't get anymore email updates on this thread after about halfway through the first page. Didn't know it had so many replies. I picked the pipe up for $40 back late spring and it's been a great smoker, $18 isn't a lot but I figured (as Yak did) that it'd be closer to $28 shipping it back and forth. Worth it? Undoubtedly. Necessary? Most things aren't.
I'll probably look into sending it off soon, since it is a pipe I don't want permanently out of commission.
