Sailor 1911 Ivory - 14k Music Nib

Got the sailor 1911 Music Nib in this afternoon.

Oh yeah, This one is FUN. Nice and juicy. Smooth like buttah. Nice size.

This thing puts down a whole lotta ink. Not sure how totally practical it is...but it sure is cool.

These are very nice looking pens in the style of many of the Post War German style. They are an excelent size in both length and dia. to fit the hand well and add to the enjoyment of this nib. You may find yourself using it more than you think !! Enjoy it as i do mine which by the way is the Red one ! :twisted: :twisted:

if you wondered where the name "Mandarin Yellow" comes from it was first used in 1927 by Parker for one of it's Duofold pens. I have a 1928 one but don't use it as the celluloid is very brittle now. You know, fountain pens are really cool, useful, pretty, and very collectible--some mouth-wateringly so. But I like this Twizzby Eco mit der 1.1 stub pointy thing so much that I no longer have a hankering for anything else, perhaps forever. Thank youse, Blackhorse, for saving me mucho $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
